The New Testament

Mr. Walker has every right to his own opinion; however, the rest of us have the right to disagree. I don't think God wants my children growing up in ignorance of people whom they may be able/asked to help someday.

Please... shut up!

Unfortunately, we live in the real world.

We cannot run around the community with our eyes shut and our hands over our ears shutting out the mean ole things the world has to offer.

In any classroom, there are always 1 or 2 nutcase parents who interupt teaching, run to the principal, carry on, and bitch and moan in the community when something happens they don't like. It's called DRAMA! And some parents, and obviously certain bored members; enjoy, look for, participate, and propagate drama!

If you want to raise your child in a vacuum, home school them (like tracey norman does).

And before you say your child has a right to a free education...stop! Yes, any child does have the right to a free education; however, the education is based on law, statute, and NC regulations, and not on the personal whims of the child's parents OR bored members.

Lastly, God has given man many things. Two real important abilities God has goven man is "free will," which is the ability to choose a certain path, and "common sense."

My preacher tells us constantly that God rewards those who follow a rightous path; however, He also will let us fall and scrape our knees on occasion too. He also tells us that God wants you to be smart, and he wants you to use that God given talent called intelligence. God wants you to keep your eyes open: He DID make this world we live in...

An example of this is at our church, when youth get to a certain age, we have sex ed classes and family planning. His point on this is he WILL NOT stand for one of his youth to become pregnant or make someone pregnant because all he has taught them to do is hide in a closet and pray.

Also, yes, the Bible can be used in school...for education purposes...and it is used in several classrooms that I DO know about.

These are young adults we are talking about. I think we are forgetting the adult part of it. They probably handled the "porn" scenes with more maturity than Tracy Norman.

Dear 5:45 PM,

From listening to the audio, you are absolutely correct! Tracy is struggling to claim some moral legitimacy in her own right. How do you think she is doing?

As far as academic legitimacy goes, maybe she would allow the News Herald to publish her high school transcript. We could see how many honors courses she took. Think that will happen?
