Those are very notable, well-respected organizations. Any predictions about whether or not the board will comment about this letter at the next BOE meeting?
If history repeats itself, maybe some of the board members will challenge these nationally recognized organizations to put their money where their mouths are and step up to the podium. After all, some board members have already established how they will treat well-respected persons who dare voice their opinions if they happen to be in opposition to the beliefs of the new majority.
I have a feeling that the board will choose to refrain from commenting on the letter. If anyone does mentionit, I'm sure Barnard will just say that these organizations are "wacko." you'd think he could come up with a better adjective.
